Rengel Printing Acquires Continental Press
December 31, 2018 –

On the verge of our 99th year of business, we have some major news: We’re growing!

Rengel Printing is excited to announce the acquisition of its long-time industry friend and local business peer Continental Press. The deal is set to close by the end of 2018 and along with it will come 70 years of printing experience.

Pete and LeRae Rengel, third-generation owners of Rengel Printing, believe this decision solidifies how good the company’s relationship with Continental has been over the years.

The Rengels believe the unification of both team’s experience, ideas, processes and talent will create more opportunities for Rengel’s and Continental’s customers and employees.

More simply put: “We’re stronger together,” Pete Rengel said.

As of January 1st, Rengel Printing’s staff of 24 will nearly double when it is joined by Continental Press’ entire team of 11, including owners Kristin Rothstein and Kurt Rothstein, at Rengel Printing’s office located in the Pantown area of St. Cloud.

Other than the Rothstein siblings, whose roles will change slightly, all Continental Press employees will maintain their current position at Rengel. Kristin Rothstein will transition to an account executive/sales role serving both current and new customers, while Kurt Rothstein will focus on the production floor to ensure the integration is seamless for both employees and customers.

With 169 years of combined printing expertise under one roof, this change is one that is sure to strengthen all aspects of Rengel Printing. We’re looking forward to continuing the work we love in 2019 and beyond alongside our new team members.
